Why does my SOL swap show as completed on the blockchain but the funds are not in my wallet
The transaction is recorded on Solana's blockchain, but the funds have not yet reached your wallet because the exchanger's system must complete additional steps after the on-chain confirmation. The blockchain only shows that your SOL left your wallet and arrived at the exchanger's address; it does not show the exchanger's internal processing or the transfer to your destination wallet.

You send from your own wallet straight to the exchanger — nothing to connect, no account, and you stay on this page throughout. Rates are indicative until a swap is opened.
The swap is carried out by an independent exchanger and the deposit address above is theirs. mycoin.hk never holds, receives or controls your funds, has no key to that address, and earns a referral commission. Opening a swap sends your receiving address, IP, browser and timezone to the exchanger for their compliance checks; we store none of it. Check their terms, fees and country restrictions before sending anything.
Here is why this happens when you use an exchanger to move SOL across chains.
The blockchain records only one leg of the journey. When you initiate a swap, your wallet sends SOL to the exchanger's address. That transaction gets confirmed on Solana's ledger. You see it as "completed" because it is - from the network's perspective. The SOL arrived where it was supposed to. But the exchanger still needs to verify that deposit, calculate the equivalent amount on the destination chain, sign a new transaction on that chain, and broadcast it. None of that work appears on Solana's block explorer.
Most exchangers use a tiered confirmation policy. They do not forward funds immediately after a single block confirmation. Solana is fast, but reorganisations do happen. To avoid sending funds based on a block that later gets orphaned, the exchanger waits for a certain number of confirmations. That number is not standard. Some wait three blocks, some wait ten, some wait thirty. During that window, your SOL is sitting in the exchanger's hot wallet. The blockchain shows the deposit as final. The exchanger's system still considers it unconfirmed.
The destination chain adds its own delays. After the exchanger confirms your deposit on Solana, it must create and broadcast a transaction on the other chain - Ethereum, BSC, or whatever you chose. That chain may have slower block times or higher congestion. Your transaction might be stuck in a mempool waiting for gas prices to drop. The blockchain on the Solana side shows nothing about this. It only shows that your SOL left. The funds are not lost; they have not been sent yet from the exchanger's address on the destination chain.
The exchanger's internal ledger can cause temporary mismatches. Some exchangers credit your account on their side immediately upon seeing the Solana deposit, then batch multiple outgoing transactions to save on fees. Your funds may be sitting in a queue, waiting for the next batch cycle. Other exchangers hold funds until they have enough volume to fill a profitable liquidity route. The blockchain shows a completed deposit, but the exchanger has not yet executed the outgoing transfer.
What you should check first. Open the transaction on Solscan or a similar explorer. Look at the "To" address. If that address belongs to the exchanger (it usually is a known hot wallet), then your SOL arrived safely. Next, find the exchanger's order status page. Most provide a lookup tool where you paste the transaction ID. That page will show you the exchanger's internal confirmation status, the number of confirmations still required, and the destination transaction hash once it exists. If the status says "waiting for confirmations," you are in the waiting period. If it says "completed" but you still see no funds, check the destination wallet address you entered - a typo is the most common cause of permanent loss.
When to be concerned. If more than a few hours pass and the exchanger's status still shows nothing, or if the destination transaction hash exists but the transaction failed on the other chain, contact the exchanger's support. Provide the Solana transaction ID. Do not send funds again. Do not trust anyone who messages you offering to "fix" the issue for a fee.
